What are One Day Fun Days?
One Day Fun Days are single-day events that happen once a month, designed to bring joy and community together. Past Fun Days have included activities like visiting Halloweentown, Christmas shopping, bowling, movie festivals, zoo trips, museum visits, BBQs, flower planting, and more. These events allow participants to enjoy an adventure without an overnight commitment.
What are Sight Loss Seminars?
Sight Loss Seminars are intensive skill-building events held six times a year, each lasting 3 nights and 4 days. These seminars focus on essential skills such as Orientation & Mobility (O&M) training and assistive technology. Themes include introductory and advanced sight loss seminars, cooking, and arts & hobbies seminars.
What are Getaways?
Getaways, held three times a year, are fun, social experiences where guests can enjoy the Hull Foundation’s campus. Each getaway is 3 nights and 4 days long, including activities like scavenger hunts, talent shows, and accessible games. Past events have included Spring Fling, Monster Mash, and Winter Holiday Getaway.
What are Retreats?
Retreats are week-long adventures filled with diverse and exciting activities, occurring four times a year. Each retreat lasts 6 nights and 7 days, with outings such as jet boat tours, kayaking, river rafting, ziplining, beach walks, yacht rides, and much more.
Do Sight Loss Seminars, Getaways, and Retreats include lodging and meals?
Yes! Guests at Sight Loss Seminars, Getaways, and Retreats stay at the Hull Foundation’s comfortable dormitories. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert are catered by local chefs and restaurants, providing a delicious and nourishing experience for every guest.
What amenities are available at the Hull Foundation?
The Hull Foundation offers a range of amenities to make every stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our campus includes:

Heated Pool & Hot Tub: Indoor facilities for year-round relaxation.

Rainbow Lodge: Equipped with a large, carpeted area, sofas, a grand piano and a projector for movie nights. The lodge also includes accessible computers and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Dormitory: Features 23 single or double-occupancy rooms, a large lounge area with a full kitchen, and a 12-person indoor hot tub.

Picnic Shelter: A spacious shelter with stove, refrigerator, fireplace, and seating for 120 guests, surrounded by oak and fir trees.

Stocked Trout Pond: Catch-and-release fishing with gear supplied.

Playground with Swings & Horseshoe Pit: Fun activities for all ages and abilities to enjoy.
