Our Sight Loss Seminar offers an enriching 4-day, 3-night experience where you can master essential skills for daily living. With engaging workshops on daily living skills such as mobility, technology, and kitchen skills.  You’ll gain practical tools and boost your confidence. In your downtime, relax in our spacious hot tub or explore our unique 5 Senses Garden, where you can immerse yourself in nature and foster connections with fellow participants navigating their own journeys.

Arts & Hobbies Seminar 2025
Sponsored by a grant graciously awarded to the Hull Foundation and Learning Center by Delta Gamma, guests were able to do a variety of activities during this seminar.  They explored various Japanese style art like water coloring and flower arrangement. Dipped their toes in modern art in America such as graffiti art and theater arts.  They also got to experience some different hobbies which included macrame and hot air ballooning.

Intro To Sight Loss Seminar
Participants were guided through a comprehensive understanding of the tools and skills necessary for a fulfilling life. These workshops included a deep dive into iPhone accessibility features tailored for those experiencing vision loss, along with hands-on practice in skills for shopping, traveling, and cooking. For our orientation and mobility portion, it was discussed how guide dogs can significantly enhance one's daily experiences.

Advanced Sight Loss Seminar
Made possible by the generous donation from Benvision, this seminar was able to offer an array of workshops.  These workshops included info for accessible iPhone apps, shared tips on the art of hosting a gathering and cooking. Participants discussed the importance of setting boundaries and advocating for personal preferences. A quick outing to Echo Ranch provided a fantastic chance to work on mobility while in an unfamiliar setting.
